Kurt is by far the best property manager my husband or I have ever dealt with. From the beginning, he was professional and courteous. He always answered our emails or calls in a timely manner. Unfortunately we only rented with him for a year and due to some unforeseen circumstances, we moved onto Peterson AFB (we are an Air Force family). Otherwise we would have stayed with Candela and rented another property from them. Throughout the messy situation that caused us to move Kurt was amazing. He always put our needs first and was helpful in any manner he could be. He takes very good care of his tenants. We also appreciated the respect for our privacy and the non-invasive nature of how he manages his properties. If you have a chance to rent (or otherwise work with) Candela, Id highly recommend them.

I had the pleasure of renting one of Kurt Eilmes properties. I rented for almost three and a half years. He was great to deal with and very attentive. We rented a home in Manitou Springs from Candela Properties for a little over a year. We found Kurt to be the utmost professional in all respects. If we ever had an issue with the house, Kurt was responsive and made sure the issue got resolved right away. As we were looking for a house to rent in Colorado Springs, we dealt with a number of property managers. Many seemed interested mainly in charging high application fees instead of finding a quality tenant for the homeowner. Kurt of course kept the interests of the homeowner at the forefront, but he was also very helpful to us as potential tenants. We would count it a privilege to rent from Kurt at Candela Properties again.

We have been tenants of a Candela Properties for over a year and we have had a great experience with them! They have followed through on their promises. Right from the beginning they didn't overcharge for a background check like some companies who use it as a profit center. We got an opportunity to leave the country for some new opportunities and we left our contract early (as provided for in the lease) and helped find another renter and were able to leave in good standing with them. Kurt communicates well and his methodology seems to work, taking out the adversarial nature of the renter/landlord relationship.
